The food was so good!!! Makes me wanna slap somebody’s momma just not mines. We ordered a double w/o bacon and a single with bacon (beef) and fries. My apologies about the photos but that’s all that was left. Make sure you check them out!
This was my first but definitely not my last time eating there. I can say it was the best burger I ever had. The flavor was amazing and I loved the crispy edge of the burger. I don’t know what was in the Akh sauce but they need to bottle and sell it. If you haven’t tried the food… go immediately.
I recently tried Smash Akhs, a halal burger food truck, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. I ordered the bacon burger, and it was fantastic! Perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor. One of the best parts is that the entire menu is halal, which makes it a great option for anyone looking for high-quality halal comfort food. On top of that, the workers were super friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to. Highly recommend if you’re craving a solid burger.
They have great burgers. One of the best burgers I have ever tasted, perfectly done. I really liked the burger sauce since it seemed to compliment the burger without dominating the flavor of the patty. I got the regular fries and they were great. The cookies & cream milkshake was a winner. I will go back....no doubt.
I've driven past this food truck so many times I wouldn't be able to count. It wasn't until it came across my feed on Instagram that I started paying attention. Just driving by, you wouldn't know that it was an actual food truck housed right next to a fire truck station. Today, I decided to give it a try. I guess advertisements really do work because seeing it on Instagram was the final deciding factor. I have to say, I was thoroughly satisfied with my visit. I decided to get the double patty smashed burger with bacon. It was absolutely delicious and was made to perfection! They put it on a nice soft potato-like bun. They also added a special sauce and provolone cheese, I believe. I also got their crinkle cut fries and their butter cookie milkshake since I'm always up for trying quality shakes. Everything was really good and the shake was excellent. It had cookie crumbles in the shake and the temperature was nice and cold but also smooth and thick at the same time. The thick straw allowed me to drink it without a struggle. There were at least three bench tables with umbrella tops situated in the grass not too far from the truck just in case you wanted to chow down right then and there. I decided to eat in my car because it was raining and I didn't want to wait all the way till I got home. I'll definitely be back in the future. I highly recommend you check them out, too!! Abbie is the most amazing server around town! She's such a bright light and a incredible young lady! She's so attentive and friendly. You must stop by and experience the cool atmosphere and excellent customer service!!! Abbie is not only a beautiful young lady...she is a extremely hard worker. This Food Truck is a SMASH! The burgers are thick, flavorful, and heavy Spicy, sweet, tanging sauce... Delicious Crinkle-Cut fries and amazing milkshakes & mojitos!!! You'll grab your bag and end up satisfied and full! 👍🏾 👍🏾

Excellent food, fresh ingredients, and amazing customer service every time! The burgers were flavorful, cooked perfectly, and packed with quality toppings. The fries were hot and seasoned just right. I DON’T FEEL BLOATED AFTER EATING!!! 🙏🏾🙌🏾 The atmosphere was clean, welcoming, and the staff were professional and friendly from start to finish. Definitely one of the best smash burger spots in the area. Highly recommend Smash Ahks if you’re in Glendale, MD — I will absolutely be back!
Smash burgers are the in-thing for now and I came here to find out what’s going on at Smash Akhs. The overall vibe is very quiet, since this food truck is parked in what looks like an old fire house. One star deduction for no facilities anywhere near by, but a star returned for having outdoor seating. The burger was an 8 out of 10. It was obviously very fresh and the cheese was delicious. The sauce was good and well balanced. I was disappointed in the bun, if it had been put on the flat top and given just a little bit of toast, the texture would’ve been entirely different and the bread would’ve held its own. As it was, it was bread out of the package and that’s why only eight out of 10. The french fries were top-notch. They were very crispy and surprisingly delicious. You could taste a little bit of the french fry oil still lingering in the product, but it didn’t bother me too much. It’s sort of added to the overall case they were greasy without being greasy, if you know what I mean. The best part of the entire meal was the cookie butter milkshake. It was very thick and extremely loaded with flavor. This place goes a long way to upgrade their packaging and their presentation and I appreciate that. The only thing I don’t appreciate was $27 for a milkshake, some fries, and a two-patty burger. That’s not sustainable for me so it will be a while before I come back here again, but I will recommend it as a place to visit and try out.
